BMU-INHA IDP has been implemented since 2020 within the framework of the “State Program for Increasing the International Competitiveness of the Higher Education System in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2019–2023.” Following the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev dated July 22, 2025, on “Additional Measures to Increase the International Competitiveness of the Higher Education System in the Republic of Azerbaijan,” the program’s duration has been extended until 2030.
This year, admission to the international dual degree program based on the 3+1 model is open for four specializations: Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence Engineering), Data Analytics (Data Science), Information Technology, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering. At the end of their studies, students receive undergraduate diplomas from both BMU and INHA University in their respective fields of study.
