According to Article 12 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Education,” the following forms of education are implemented in our country:
1. Formal;
2. Non-formal;
3. Informal.
“Tehsil365” reports that formal education is a form of education that concludes with the issuance of a state educational document. General education, initial vocational education, secondary specialized education, higher education, retraining programs, and repeated higher or secondary specialized education are considered formal education because they all conclude with the issuance of a state educational document.
Informal education refers to the form of acquiring knowledge through self-education.
Non-formal education is the form of education obtained through various courses, clubs, and individual lessons, which is not accompanied by the issuance of a state educational document.
