The European Universities Futsal Championship is being held in Zagreb, Croatia, from July 17 to 25.
According to “Tehsil365”, Azerbaijan is being represented at the tournament by the team of the Azerbaijan State Academy of Physical Education and Sport, the winner of the 2024/2025 season of the Azerbaijan Student League.
The team departed for Croatia on July 16.
In the quarterfinals, our team defeated the French team with a score of 5–4, securing a place in the semifinals.
It should be noted that the team's participation in the European Championship is organized by the Azerbaijan Student Football Federation Public Union, with the support of the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA), the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers, the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Sports Organizations Association, and the Azerbaijan State Academy of Physical Education and Sport.
