The “Indonesia and the Muslim World Film Festival 2025” will be held on September 20–21 in Jakarta. Member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), including the Republic of Azerbaijan, are invited to participate by submitting films to be screened at the festival.
This was reported to “Tehsil365” by the Union of Cinematographers of Azerbaijan.
It was noted that the festival accepts full-length and short feature, documentary, and animated films produced between 2022 and 2025.
Eligible film durations are as follows: short films should be between 10–30 minutes and feature films between 70–120 minutes.
Priority will be given to films addressing the following themes:
“Humanity and Solidarity”
“Daily Life of Muslims”
“Muslim Women and Youth”
“Local Traditions and Muslim Culture”
“Spirituality, Morality, and Life’s Journey”
“Tolerance and Coexistence”
Films promoting violence, pornography, hatred, or blasphemy will not be accepted for the festival.
