As part of the Intergovernmental Scholarship Programs (HTP), a meeting was held with students who will study in Hungary and the People’s Republic of China during the 2025–2026 academic year.
According to “Tehsil365”, the event was organized by the State Agency for Science and Higher Education and attended by Head of the International Cooperation Department Mujdat Hasanov, Head of the Overseas Education Sector Niftali Gasimli, representative of the Azerbaijani Students and Alumni Platform Gulustan Karimli, Chair of the “Azerbaijan–Hungary Alumni” Public Union Lala Aliyeva, and representative of the “Azerbaijan–China Alumni Association” Ilaha Balakishiyeva.
During the meeting, participants discussed students’ academic activities abroad, research opportunities, organizational matters, and documentation procedures. The students were also given recommendations regarding situations they might encounter during their studies. In addition, the importance of promoting Azerbaijan’s cultural heritage and historical values in the countries where they will study was emphasized.
It was noted that for the 2025–2026 academic year, 130 Azerbaijani citizens will study in Hungary and 43 in China at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels, in fields considered priorities for economic development.
