On August 18, the 5th meeting of high-ranking officials of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TÜRKSOY) member states kicked off in Trabzon, Türkiye. Deputy Minister of Culture Farid Jafarov is attending the event.
According to “Tehsil365”, the main purpose of the meeting is to prepare documents, activity reports, and strategic plans to be discussed at the Permanent Council of TÜRKSOY.
As part of the visit, the deputy ministers held meetings with the Mayor of Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality and the Governor of Trabzon, discussing the promotion of Turkic world cultures and the deepening of regional cooperation.
At the end of the day, Farid Jafarov delivered a speech at the closing ceremony held at the Monastery of the Virgins.
