The film “Sermon to the Void”, supported by the Azerbaijan Republic Cinema Agency, has been included in the official program of the 82nd Venice International Film Festival and will be screened in the “Out of Competition – Fiction” section. The film’s director is Hilal Baydarov, known in the international film community for his distinctive style, and the executive producer is Orkhan Fikratoglu.
According to “Tehsil365”, the production of the film received financial support from ARKA. In addition, all necessary expenses related to Hilal Baydarov’s trip to Mexico to finalize the post-production process were also covered by ARKA.
As one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious film events, the Venice Film Festival serves as an important platform for promoting Azerbaijani films internationally and for expanding creative exchange.
