At the Gala Archaeological and Ethnographic Museum Complex, a solo exhibition titled “Native Gala” by People’s Artist of Azerbaijan Ashraf Heybatov has been inaugurated in the Gala Fortress.
According to “Tehsil365”, the exhibition features more than 25 works dedicated to the artist’s birthplace, Gala village, which has been a source of inspiration for his creativity. The paintings reflect the nature, landscapes, and national-cultural spirit of Absheron. The artist’s distinctive style, rich color palette, and the artistic-aesthetic atmosphere of Absheron can be felt in his works.
As part of the event, the author of the exhibition held master classes with young artists from the Shuvalan Youth House. Afterwards, the works of these young painters were showcased to the public in an open-air exhibition at the museum complex.
Ashraf Heybatov’s solo exhibition “Native Gala” will remain open to visitors at the Gala Archaeological and Ethnographic Museum Complex until August 28.
