On August 26 – Lachin City Day – a series of events were organized. This year, the celebrations are being held within the framework of Lachin city’s designation as the “Cultural Capital of the CIS for 2025.”
According to “Tehsil365”, this was stated to journalists by Farrukh Jumayev, Head of the International Relations Department of the Ministry of Culture.
He noted that the main purpose of such events is to present Lachin’s culture and history to a wider audience and to bring together young people and creative professionals working in the field of arts.
“Within the camp, discussions will be held on the achievements of young people, and a foundation will be laid for future projects and new organizations. Over the course of two days, the youth will get acquainted with Lachin, closely explore the city’s culture, and take part in various master classes. These classes will mainly cover architectural graphics, theater, and visual arts. At the same time, exhibitions of the works created by young people will also be presented,” Farrukh Jumayev emphasized.
