UN General Assembly Adopts Artificial Intelligence Resolution Initiated by Tajikistan
According to “Tehsil365”, citing local media, the Information Department of Tajikistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that the UN General Assembly has adopted a resolution on artificial intelligence put forward by Tajikistan.
The resolution focuses on the development of reliable and secure technologies, with special emphasis on education, startups, and international cooperation.
Under the resolution, a Regional Artificial Intelligence Center will be established in Dushanbe. The center will coordinate AI programs across Central Asia.
“Joint projects between universities, data centers, and technoparks are being planned. Mechanisms for AI regulation and self-governance are being developed, and the region is expected to serve as a model for other countries around the world,” the statement said.
