41 years have passed since the death of the prominent conductor and world-renowned composer, People's Artist of the USSR, Hero of Socialist Labor, and laureate of the State Prizes of both Azerbaijan and the USSR, Niyazi Taghizade-Hajibeyov.
According to the Niyazi Apartment-Museum, a branch of the State Museum of Azerbaijani Musical Culture, as reported to "Tehsil365”, the museum's leadership, staff members, and representatives of the public visited the Alley of Honor to pay tribute at the maestro’s grave.
An "Open Doors" day was also held at the museum. Throughout the day, members of the Music Enthusiasts Club visited the museum to honor Maestro Niyazi’s memory.
Guests were presented with detailed information about Niyazi’s life and creative work. Documentary films, video concerts, and movies featuring his music were screened in his memory.
