“Summer Fest 2025” – Youth Legal Awareness and Festival

The fourth camp of “Summer Fest 2025,” dedicated to the “Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty” and held from July 28 to August 1 under the theme “Justice and Law,” brought together 250 socially active young people.

According to “Tehsil365”, the camp aimed to promote constitutional and legal values, strengthen social solidarity, and encourage youth participation in civil society. It featured a dynamic and content-rich program that left a lasting impression on participants.

Throughout the camp, participants attended sessions led by professionals on topics such as “A Youth Perspective on the Justice System,” “My Career and Labor Relations,” “Formation of Legal Awareness: The Role and Place of Youth in the Legal System,” “Sense of Justice and Psychological Behavior: The Inner Compass of Youth,” “Current Issues in Cybersecurity,” and “Volunteering in the Legal Sphere.” These sessions helped youth develop their understanding of legal thinking and digital safety.

In addition to the educational aspect, various engaging activities were organized, including yoga sessions, creative masterclasses, workshops, intellectual games, hiking, and airsoft competitions—creating an enjoyable and educational environment. Evening events like karaoke nights, DJ performances, and heartfelt campfire conversations further strengthened the spirit of friendship and teamwork. Participants also watched the football match between Qarabağ FK and Shelbourne F.C. together, showing their support for the national team.

The five-day “Justice and Law” camp was an important step toward enhancing legal literacy among youth and cultivating more responsible citizens.

It is worth noting that Summer Fest 2025 is organized with the support of the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan and in partnership with the IDEA Public Union, the Azerbaijan Student Youth Organizations’ Union, the Azerbaijan Volunteer Organizations’ Union, the “CAVAN” Youth Movement, and the “Young Volunteers” Public Union.

The festival will continue until August 29, featuring a total of eight thematic camps with the participation of more than 2,000 young people. These camps will focus on topics such as “National and Moral Values,” “Solidarity,” “Humanism,” “Justice and Law,” “Development,” “Patriotism,” “History of Independence,” and “Victorious Diplomacy.”

Young people can register through the website http://yayfest.az/ to apply for the upcoming camps. Priority will be given to socially active youth aged 18 to 25 during the selection process.
