On August 1, Professor Cho Yong Joon from the Department of Economics at Seoul National University and Director of the Center for Korean Economy and K-Academics (KEKA) visited the Faculty of Translation and the Center for Korean Studies at Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL).
According to AUL’s report to “Tehsil365”, during his visit, Professor Cho Yong Joon met with Korean language instructors from the Department of Theory and Practice of Translation of Modern and Romance Languages at AUL, representatives from the Department of Korean Studies at Baku State University, and a Korean instructor from the Sejong Institute in Khirdalan.
During the meeting, the activities and recent academic initiatives of the KEKA Center were presented. In particular, detailed information was provided about their newly developed online platform, which includes courses on the Korean economy and academic fields. It was noted that these resources could also be utilized in local educational processes.
The parties discussed future opportunities for academic and educational collaboration. At the end of the meeting, Professor Cho Yong Joon donated his authored books to the Center for Korean Studies and presented commemorative gifts to the participating teachers. The meeting concluded with a group photo.
