AUL graduate to pursue master's studies in London

AUL graduate admitted to University College London for Master’s Program in special and inclusive education.

Aysun Karimova, a graduate of Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL), has been admitted to the Master's program in Special and Inclusive Education at University College London (UCL), one of the world’s leading higher education institutions. She will pursue her studies under the “State Program for Education of Azerbaijani Youth Abroad for 2022–2028.”

According to AUL's statement to “Tehsil365” Aysun, born in Baku in 2004, completed her secondary education at Baku Turkish High School and earned a bachelor's degree with distinction in English Language Teaching from AUL. She was admitted to this program with a score of 610 and was awarded the “Future Teacher” scholarship. She also participated in a dual degree program in partnership with the University of Essex.

Aysun began her teaching career in her first year of university and successfully completed the 120-hour international TESOL program as well as the Cambridge TKT exams. She has taken part in various local and international training programs and stood out in intellectual competitions. In the winter semester of the 2023/2024 academic year, she achieved a GPA of 99.7—the highest in her faculty—and was awarded a certificate of honor by AUL Rector Kamal Abdulla.

Aysun aims to contribute to the development of inclusive education and to apply international experience for the benefit of Azerbaijan. She expressed her gratitude to her family, teachers, and the AUL administration for their support in her achievements.
