The collaboration between BMU and Samarkand State University has been discussed

An online meeting was held between the delegations of Baku Engineering University (BMU) and Samarkand State University (SSU).

According to Tehsil365, the meeting aimed to develop bilateral cooperation with SSU, one of the oldest and largest higher education institutions in the Republic of Uzbekistan. During the meeting, BMU’s Vice-Rector for International Relations, Ətrabə Gül, provided detailed information about the university’s international relations, ongoing projects, and future development plans. She also emphasized the steps taken to strengthen BMU’s position in the international education arena.

In turn, SSU’s Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Akmal Akhatov Rustamovich, spoke about the university’s scientific and educational activities and its international cooperation initiatives, noting that the partnership could be mutually beneficial for both institutions. The meeting also included extensive discussions on topics of common interest and highlighted the importance of exchanging experiences.

During the discussions, SSU representatives proposed several concrete areas for cooperation, including organizing winter and summer schools, conducting joint research projects with student teams, implementing student exchange programs, developing dual-degree programs, and carrying out joint projects. Both parties emphasized that cooperation is based on mutual trust and agreed to work closely on organizing joint scientific-practical events and implementing innovative projects in the future.

The meeting took place in a productive dialogue environment and was regarded as the beginning of a new phase in the collaboration between the two universities.
