Trump noted that he had held talks with Intel’s CEO, Lip-Bu Tan.
“It is a great honor for me to announce that the United States now has full ownership of 10 percent of the shares of Intel, a great American company with an even brighter future. The shares, currently valued at approximately $11 billion, cost the U.S. nothing. This is a big deal for America, and a big deal for Intel. The production of advanced semiconductors and chips by Intel plays a key role in the future of our country.”
