According to a draft law submitted to the parliament of the northern capital, university tuition fees in Russia could be adjusted based on the score an applicant receives on the Unified State Exam.
“Tehsil365” reports that this information was published by Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
Under the proposal, students who achieve high scores on the exam would pay lower tuition fees. Currently, even if applicants score above 90 points but do not secure a state-funded place, they pay the same tuition as those with lower scores.
