The Technopark of Baku Engineering University (BEU) has been awarded the “Innovation Lab” certificate for its successful activities in the fields of innovation and technology, as well as for supporting young researchers and startups.

The certificate was presented to BEU Technopark by the Global Innovation Institute (GInI) within the framework of the project “Certification of Innovation Ecosystem Players as Individuals and Companies”, implemented by Code Academy with the support of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency. GInI is a leading international organization providing professional certification, accreditation, and membership services in the field of innovation.
BEU Technopark is the first institution in the country to receive the “Innovation Lab” certificate. This prestigious recognition highlights the international acknowledgment of the university’s contributions in recent years to the development of the scientific research and startup ecosystem.
As one of the first university-based technoparks established in Azerbaijan, BEU Technopark aims to promote research, technological innovation, entrepreneurship, and the support of innovative projects. In addition, the Technopark has supported a number of successful startup initiatives in recent years, organized various innovation competitions and hackathons, and encouraged youth creativity.
