Azerbaijani entrepreneur Yaqub Rahimov’s startup “Polygraf AI” has been named the winner of the “Road to TechCrunch Battlefield 200” competition, organized by the Silkroad Innovation Center.
Selected from among more than 400 startups from Central Asia, the Caucasus, and Türkiye, the company has earned a direct spot in the finals of the prestigious TechCrunch 2025 competition.
According to “Tehsil365” , the Polygraf AI project helps organizations protect data security and detect deepfake risks at a time when artificial intelligence is evolving rapidly. The platform identifies deepfake voices and fake content, while also preventing the leakage of sensitive information into AI tools such as OpenAI, Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot.
“This victory once again confirms the global significance of our work as the Polygraf AI team. Through our localized Small Language Model (SLM) technology, we aim to protect critical operations teams from compliance risks while combating AI-driven fraud. The upcoming TechCrunch Disrupt event in San Francisco is a unique opportunity to share our mission with a wider audience and, by winning the Battlefield 200 competition, to achieve a historic milestone,” said Yaqub Rahimov.
This success continues the company’s streak of international achievements this year. Previously, Polygraf AI was also named the winner of two other major U.S. competitions — SXSW Pitch and SummerFest Tech.
