Within the framework of the ICPC World Final, the winners of the "R.M. 90" programming contest were awarded.

According to “Tehsil365”, as part of the 49th International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) World Final, the closing ceremony of the "R.M. 90" programming contest was held, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Ramin Mahmudzada, Azerbaijan’s first programmer, a distinguished educator, recipient of the "Shohrat" Order, and former associate professor at Baku State University (BSU).

In his opening speech, Elchin Babayev, Rector of Baku State University, noted that in recent years, significant state-level measures have been implemented in Azerbaijan to modernize and develop the information and communication technologies sector. Computer science and programming are also priority fields at BSU, where a modern Digital Research Laboratory operates. The Rector recalled Ramin Mahmudzada’s contributions to the development of computer science in Azerbaijan and emphasized that such contests play an important role in enhancing the country’s intellectual potential.
